Along with being just plain cool, the SOG Flash II Straight Edge model FSA-8 has lots of tactical qualities. In case you've never held one of these, the blade just comes flying out with a POP when you push the thumbstud opening system. This is made possible by the SOG Assisted Technology that is inside the handle. The blade is locked tight with the piston lock, and it is released easily by simply retracting the slider in the handle. Also integrated in the handle is a saftey to prevent accidental opening. |
