SOG Flash I Aluminum TiNi Knife STGFSA-97 Description:
The aluminum TiNi version of the SOG Flash I features an AUS 8 blade with a black TiNi coating and a hard anodized aluminum handle. This SOG STGFSA-97 has a partially serrated blade and seems to have a certain tactical military look to it. To open the knife all the user has to do is gently press the thumbstud. At that point the SOG Assisted Technology takes over and finishes opening the blade. The whole process makes for one fast opening blade. To release the blade the user retracts the piston lock in the handle to fold it back into place. A reversible pocket clip is included for easy carrying and an integrated safety in the handle to prevent accidental opening.
