The blade is AUS 8 steel that is rated 57-58 on the HRC scale. It has a curved design that provides added cutting length over a more traditional design. The glass reinforced nylon handle has significant texturing for a firm, comfortable grip at all times. A Kydex tactical sheath is included with the SOG Ops M40-K.
