Made from a thick steel stock of .185, the SOG SEAL Pup Elite definitely has more under the hood that most knives. This SOG model E37S features the non-reflective TiNi coating. The spine rasp is for making notches or pressing down on the blade for more cutting pressure. The textured handle is made of a glass reinforced Zytel and has finger grooves for excellent grip.
